I work in technical marketing, always been an entrepreneur. I'm interested in many things, but I've highlighted some of the main ones that hold the most weight for me below.
I work at a database startup as a marketer. Super interested in continuing to grow my career in the developer-focused B2B space.
By the way, did you know that Latina women only make up 2% of the tech workforce? We need more Latina women in tech. It'll bring a perspective that is often lacking at the leadership table. I'm proud to be part of this 2%, and I'm lucky to have a voice at my current company. I hope to help other women get into rooms they deserve to be in as I grow in my career.
Yeah, I'm one of those people, but I have a good reason. My personality has always been addictive. As someone that's constantly seeking the next hit of dopamine, I've found running to be a great natural source. It's freeing and the effects last for hours.
I'm currently training to improve my 10k time. Long term goal is to run this distance in 48 minutes. My 5k PR is 24:41.
Just bought a row home here in Washington, DC. After living here for a bit, I just know this is home. Being surrounded by so many young, ambitious, and even wealthy individuals pushes me in the ways I need to be pushed. I'll be made a better person by spreading my roots here.
Currently, I do technical marketing and operations at PlanetScale. I love this job. I've never been on an all-star team before this, but this is it. Being on one now is teaching me I'm capable of things I didn't think I could be before.
